I'm a software developer based in Ottawa, CA who's jazzed to use new tech.

I bring extensive experience in building modern web applications, honed through my professional career, hackathons, and personal projects. My expertise spans a wide range of SPA frameworks, including Angular, React, and Vue.js, with a deep enthusiasm for modern technologies like Solid.js, Svelte, Next.js, and Qwik. I’m particularly drawn to innovative libraries within the React ecosystem, such as TanQuery, Million, Redux, and Jotai.

I have a strong interest in SecDevOps, exemplified by the construction and maintenance of my home server, where I ensured its security and hosted my projects before transitioning to cloud-based solutions.

I'm always on the lookout for innovative new libraries and frameworks to use or contribute to. I've contributed to promissing plugins (rollup-plugin-dts), large UI libraries (Chakra UI) (soon), and frameworks (Next.js), and Astro.

During my undergraduate studies, I transitioned my specialization from Software Development to Computer and Internet Security to align with my passion for privacy and cybersecurity. I also pursued courses in Machine Learning and Neural Networks. My leadership skills were further developed as president of the debating society, where I reached the finals in numerous inter-varsity competitions.

In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, experimenting with new recipes, and delving into source code. I’m particularly fascinated by comparing rendering and state management strategies in web technologies, especially exploring alternatives to the virtual DOM paradigm.
